Melbourne Fun Flys
Saturday, April 21st, 2007Hi All,
Colin McGinn from FlightPower and I did a tour of Melbourne for the F3A world team trials and Albury electric flight weekend. Congrats to Steve Corum and others for making it onto the team. I’m sure you will all do us proud at the Worlds. Highlight of the trip: Colin managed to pick up two birds and ended the drought from Down Under ( see pic below ), heheheheehehe
New YS91 Long Stroke
Friday, April 20th, 2007Hi Guys,
I’ve been testing the new YS91 Long stroke for a little while now with very good results. The motor is producing more power/torque than the current spec engine. The engine is holding head speed better while doing stationary high load maneuvers. I’ll keep you posted on how things are progressing, is definitely going to be something to you want to be trying.
Cheers
Nigel
Welcome Aboard JR
Thursday, April 19th, 2007Hi Guys,
I would just like to personally welcome JR PROPO onboard. I’ve received some new products from them for testing and have been extremely impressed by the flight characteristics so far.
I’ve setup the Synergy N9 with DS8711 servos on collective which are 403oz of torque. The extra collective power is phenomenal which makes the model feel even more locked in and precise around centre stick. I’ll add some pics of both the 600 and N9 tomorrow
Cheers
Nigel
